This anthology is filled with fables, myths, and legends from the four worlds: the proud Yenyi of the volcanic overlands, the sharing Vet’vus from their submerged civilization, the solid groundlings of the subterranean Alai peoples, and the free-floating skylanders of the Gik’i. Each story uncovers the secret wisdom of one of the great Afke dragons, the guardians of the lands.

The Mivuax collection was gathered by an archivist of the Vet'vus people, who are well known for their love of the past and passion for words. However, other cultures have other versions of the Twelve Tales, with different stories for each of the great Afke.
